Steve Denenberg began his career with Weyerhaeuser in 2001 as a business analyst in the Investment Evaluation Department. While with the IED, he worked on acquisitions, divestitures and large capital improvement projects. He joined WRI in 2002 as a planning analyst and was later promoted to senior analyst of the Capital Formation department. As investment manager of the Chicagoland region, he is currently responsible for originating new investments, overseeing the investment portfolio and managing the branch office. Prior to joining Weyerhaeuser, Mr. Denenberg worked in the real estate industry as a marketing specialist for BuildNet, and as a sales manager for Loring Building Products. Mr. Denenberg holds a bachelors degree in advertising from the Unvirsity of Colorado and MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
